Vila Gale Porto - Centro

The breakfast buffet was fairly good. Rooms are good, beds are comfy, water pressure is excellent. Parking is also good and reasonably priced. The location is also convenient for visiting Porto, although some streets in the area don't look particularly inviting at night. Anyway, for the way back to the hotel from Luis I bridge, we paid 6 Euro for an Uber. This time I went to Porto for vacation, but I have also been there for work a few times. I know 6 or 7 different hotels in the area and this one is definitely on the "would come back" list

My husband and I stayed at the Vila Gale Porto Centro Hotel to celebrate my birthday and explore Porto. The hotel is conveniently located near the metro station, supermarkets, restaurants, and tourist attractions, which we were able to walk to. During our stay, the receptionist Joana and the incredible staff provided us with helpful information about the surrounding areas. The hotel surprised me on my birthday with a cake and wine, which was a lovely gesture. The restaurant staff, including Ana Oliveira, Mariana, and Daia (apologies for not remembering all the names), were friendly and accommodating. The hotel's leisure facilities, including the spa and gym, were fantastic. Special thanks to Rosalina and Fabiana. The entire hotel staff was well-trained and always ready to assist. Thank you all. The room facilities were good as expected and baby bed was provided upon request. Really friendly staff, and at day of departure we had a health issue with hospital involved, the staff was very cooperative in arranging taxi's and provided us late check-out with no additional cost. This was highly appreciated - hats off! The indoor pool was really nice as well and great view. Maybe just a bit more warm water in the pool would be good. Breakfast has wide options available to suit any type of breakfast.

The service was excellent, amazing buffet breakfast, comfortable rooms and great pool. Very close to a metro station and we were able to walk to many places from there. Concierge were happy to book us a taxi and were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were made up beautifully every day, even setting up our kids' stuffed toys sweetly om their pillow. We had dinner in the buffet restaurant one night and the host was so thoughtful.

The hotel was near the merto station (about 300m). The staff was very polite, especially the senior lady in the spa department was interested about the guests, which was very nice. We really liked the breakfast and the spa and the kindness of the staff. They cleaned the room every day without asking.
